1 Year Site License - The Gold Rush Interactive Multimedia

Schools often need their educational software on several, sometimes dozens, of computer systems around the school. This site license allows installation of this program on every computer in your school. For one year you're entitled to updates, upgrades and tech support. You do not cease using the program after that, but will no longer receive updates, upgrades and support unless you renew your license.

Currently, The Gold Rush multimedia program ships on CD. We recommend you install it on several individual systems, or install on your school network.

Students will learn about California’s Gold Rush through a fully narrated, interactive multimedia presentation compiled from primary sources. This program is broken into seven Lessons for easy learning. It contains (details of): Early explorers & their travel routes, Johan (John) Sutter, his Fort and Mill, Gold discovery & California’s rapid growth, Mining terms and methods, The science and technology of the era, Mother Lode geography with lots of maps, Dozens of 19th century California photographs, First-person stories by the 49ers and settlers, and Flash Cards to test your student's knowledge. You'll also find a Printable narration, teacher’s guides, and links to other Gold Rush history information.
